Egg White & Turkey Sausage Breakfast Sandwich

Ingredients:

1 Thomas Light Multigrain English Muffin (100 calorie)

1 Cooked Turkey Sausage Patty

6 Tbsp Liquid Egg Whites

1 Slice (19 g) Cheddar Cheese

Salt and Pepper (to taste)

Directions:

1.    Toast English muffin.

2.    Heat pan to medium heat. Add turkey sausage and cook according to package directions. Most come precooked, so you may only have to heat or thaw them. Otherwise, cook until minimum internal temperature is 165 °F. Set cooked sausage patty aside on a paper towel to absorb any additional grease.

3.    Return pan back to heat and add liquid egg whites. Season with salt and pepper and cook. A silicone egg ring or mason jar lid may be necessary to cook eggs in a circular shape to best fit sandwich. Otherwise, cook like an omelet and fold in half.

4.    Assemble sandwich by placing cheddar cheese slice on the English muffin first, then sausage, then egg round.
