Healthy Baked Pear Crisp
This Healthy, Baked Pear Crisp is perfect for holiday gatherings, tastes amazing, and at only 130 calories per serving, is a great option for those looking to stay on track during the holidays.
For this recipe, you can use any pears you like. I used both D'Anjou and Bartlett pears and both turned out great!
Ingredients:
6 Pears
1 C. Swerve Brown Sugar Substitute
3/4 C. Quick Oats
1/4 C. Flour
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/4 C. Butter
1/4 C. Maple Syrup (optional)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375℉
2. Mix Swerve brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon.
3. Add vanilla and butter, cut using a pastry cutter or fork until combined.
4. Cut pears in half, core to remove seeds, and cut a small piece off the back so they lay flat.
5. Add oat mixture to the center of the pears. Drizzle with maple syrup if desired.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until softened.
