115 Calorie Blackberry Margarita

This 115 calorie, 26 carb Blackberry Margarita is a great drink option that won't cause your calorie count to skyrocket after just 1 drink. You can make a large batch to serve at a party, or just make 1 or 2 to enjoy for yourself.
Ingredients:
For the Blackberry Syrup:
6 oz Blackberries
¼ cup Water
¼ cup Swerve Confectioners’ Sugar
½ Lemon (juiced)
Zest of ½ an Orange
For the Margarita:
1.5 oz Tequila of Choice
1 oz Lime Juice
1 oz Blackberry Syrup
Ice
Sugar or Salt (for rim, if using sugar update calories accordingly)
Directions:
For the Blackberry Syrup:
1. Combine blackberries + water in a bowl, muddle.
2. Add muddled blackberries + water, Swerve, lemon juice, and orange zest to a pan over medium heat.
3. Mix and stir frequently. Bring to a simmer for 5-10 minutes.
4. Remove from heat.
5. Strain syrup into a bowl (optional).
For the Margarita:
1. Combine tequila, lime juice, and blackberry syrup, shake or stir.
2. Pour over ice and enjoy.
