Vanilla Protein Pancakes

Vanilla Protein Pancakes

(Entire recipe = 4 servings) 

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups All Purpose or Whole Wheat Flour

2 Scoops 1st Phorm Phormula-1 Whey in Vanilla Milkshake

3 ½ tsp Baking Powder

¼ tsp Salt

1 Large Egg

1 Tbsp Melted Coconut Oil

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 ½ cup Almond Milk (or other milk of choice) – More or less depending on desired consistency

Directions:

1.    In a large mixing bowl, whisk flour, whey protein powder, baking powder, and salt until combined.

2.    Add egg, coconut oil, vanilla extract, and almond milk. Whisk until combined and smooth. Use more or less milk depending on desired consistency.

3.    Heat a non-stick skillet to medium heat. Lightly spray with cooking spray if needed. Pour ¼ cup of batter on the skillet and cook until the pancake bubbles on top, about 2 minutes. Flip and cook for about 1 minute, or until golden brown.

4.    Top with fresh fruit, berry compote (recipe here ), sugar free or regular syrup, or whipped cream. Calculate the nutrition information for these.
